When approached with the acting proposal, he was not sure of taking it up. However, he accepted the proposal when the filmmakers expressed their wish to use his identity in the movie. Directors of Puncture, Adam and Mark Kassen, portrays the story of a lawyer who is addicted to drugs, Mike Weiss. The movie revolves around a story related to safe medical syringes and a company’s effort to market the syringes. The movie shows how Weiss and his law partner Danziger find a nurse who experiences fatal side effects of being stung by a contaminated syringe.

Mark Lanier reveals that his experience of his Hollywood debut was terrific. He had enjoyed working with stars like Bret Cullen and Chris Evans. The role being familiar to Mark, he found it easy to do justice to his part.
